Seriously, don't visit Greece and spend your entire stay in Athens. Take a bus and go on a trip, or a car, or a ferry and island hop nearby. Explore the country or rent a boat and go on a trip. The sun is particularly dangerous/hot from around 13:00 (if not earlier on particularly hot days) to 16:45/17:25.

Crime is rare, and most locals are hospitable and welcoming to travelers. Violent crime rarely affects visitors, unlike the questionable driving habits of many locals.
Cuz i live abroad and can afford spending about €100 a day while in albania on vacation, i tend to carry a weeks worth of cash or about €1000 till i need to go to an atm. I recommend keeping at least €200-€300 worth in cash just incase you come to anyplace that only accepts cash.

Try and stay within the ring of Tirana, to be within walking distance to most places. As for 10 days around, you can probably visit all the famous places. Public transport will eat you a significant time but if that's what your budget can handle, try and do the south tour.

Milan can get very expensive and there isn't much to see/do. Venice I found to be very unique and interesting. Lots of great sites, food and history. You could probably do two nights there and split the other days between Florence and Rome. NOTE: keep an eye out for train strikes.

It’s a very easy city to travel in, has great sights for you to visit, and you likely won’t feel awkward being alone in the city. If you’re thinking about visiting Zagreb alone, maybe this is the sign you need to book that trip!

Sarande wasnt that beautiful but the crystal clear water of Ksamil was really worth to visit. I took a little boat to a little island in Ksamil and spend my day there and it was much better with less People and noise. (We paid 15 euros per person for this boat and island) I used bus between the cities and buses in Albania were like hell.
